Energy & Water Conservation

We encourage the use of water-saving and gas-saving devices, including water conservation fixtures and tankless water heaters. Ask us about ways you can save water and energy in your home or business!

  • Tankless hot water systems. Tankless systems are convenient because they use less space, but they also use a lot less energy than a traditional tank water heater. We can recommend and install an electric or gas model that meets your needs.
  • Low-flow showerheads. Some older shower heads may flow at a rate of over 4 gallons of water per minute. Standard shower heads now flow at a maximum rate of 2.5 gpm. We have also installed shower heads with 1.75 gpm flow that work quite well.
  • Dual flush and low flush toilets. Dual-flush toilets give you the option of using a lesser flush for liquid waste and a regular one for solids, which can save more than 2.5 gallons per flush over a regular flush toilet. High-efficiency toilets use less than 1.3 gallons for each flush and work much better than they once did.
